Lilo (Dakota Fanning) discovers that when her mother was her age, she was a great hula dancer and won the same hula contest that Lilo is entering. Knowing that she has a legacy to uphold, she is troubled by what to base her dance on. With the aid of her friend Stitch (Chris Sanders), they decided on the perfect routine, and practice. However when Jumba (David Stiers) was creating Experiment 626, the Galactic Alliance causes a malfunction with Jumba’s system, resulting in a life-threatening glitch that causes Stitch to become randomly evil until death. Lilo is then faced with losing the contest, or losing her friend.
