Nick (Christopher Jacot), an aspiring musician who recently graduated from high school, set out from the West Coast for a Toronto music festival, the MuchMusic Video Awards, to rescue his girlfriend, who works as an intern for the oversexed music producer Lenny Swackhammer (Jason Priestly). His close buddies who tagged along for the ride, Tyler (Shawn Roberts) and Dime (Ryan Belleville), provided comic relief throughout the trip. The adventure, centered around the trio losing the mode of transportation during the road trip mostly, took a turn for worse with the appearance of two sexy hitchhikers, Sasha (Joanne Kelly) and Jill (Mayko Nguyen), who were on their way to Toronto to become celebrities. Meanwhile, a hitman hired by the Nick's parents tries to prevent Nick from ever proposing to his girlfriend, adding more to the chaos the threesome has encountered during the trip.
